Pittsburg State University, Theodore M. Sperry Herbarium (KSP)The collections contain approximately 64,100 specimens, which document the distribution and natural variation of vascular plants and bryophytes in Kansas, adjacent states, and North America, excluding ca. 16,000 backlogged specimens. Many of its specimens are unicates. The collections also include important holdings from abroad (Dem. Rep. Congo; Peru; Myrtaceae of Madagascar and New Caledonia; Poaceae worldwide), and 15 isotypes. Ca. 5800 collections of North American bryophytes are databased on the Consortium of North American Bryophytes website.
