William Darlington Herbarium - West Chester University, Pennsylvania (DWC)

The William Darlington Herbarium (DWC) is a historically significant collection of roughly 15,000 specimens dating primarily from the 1810s-1850s. Notable donors include Stephen Elliott, Asa Gray, William Jackson Hooker, C. S. Rafinesque, and John Torrey; also present are specimens from both Bartram’s and Humphry Marshall’s Gardens.
